I love all babies the same, but I can’t help getting more excited for my newborn girl sessions.

Anna was a sweet little princess for her session. I’ve been blessed with sleepy, cooperative babies in the studio lately. How incredibly precious is she!

Pregnancy is full of surprises and challenges. With all the changes your body is going through, you may be hesitant about getting maternity portraits. The good news is that with the right maternity photographer, the process can actually be a fun experience, completely enjoyable just for itself.

Newborn photography usually brings the words fragile, family memories, and innocence to mind.

I LOVE newborn sessions! The best advice I can give is to get them done as early as possible once your new precious one has arrived! They are still squishy and easy to fold up into positions. They will sleep!- Honestly your sleeping newborn can be the most precious piece you have a month or so later when suddenly they are having an overnight party in their crib at full blast!

Another gem of advice – Be prepared to be involved in the photographs! You will not regret being a part of those connection photographs of you and your brand new son/daughter. A mother and child / father and child picture really tells a story in and of itself…

A baby will make love stronger, days shorter, nights longer, bankroll smaller, home happier, clothes shabbier, the past forgotten, and the future worth living for.

Sweet baby boy Leo…..on only his fifth day. He was so content, and so sweet. It reminds me of Alexander when he was so new. Those days are gone now that he’s a 2-year-old .
